1. Do your candles really smell like dessert?
Yes! Every scent is designed to capture the sweetness, warmth, and nostalgia of real desserts. From cinnamon rolls to fruity cereal they smell delicious but remember…they are not edible 😉
2. Are your dessert candles safe to burn?
Absolutely. All candles are made with clean burning natural soy wax and premium fragrance oils. Just follow proper candle care ( trim the wick, burn on a heat safe surface, etc.).
3. Why does my candle look so real?
Because it’s made that way! Each candle is hand crafted with decorative wax “toppings” to mimic real baked goods or treats. It’s part of the fun and the Wicked Aromas signature style.
4. Can I customize a scent or design?
Yes! I offer custom orders when possible whether it’s a scent blend, color theme, or dessert style. Send me a message and I’ll let you know when it’s available.
5. How long do your candles burn?
Most dessert candles burn between 35-50 hours, depending on size and proper wick trimming. Following candle care steps help maximize burn time.
6. How should I care for my dessert candle?
Trim wick to 1/4 inch
Let the first burn reach the edges
Burn 2-4 hours
Keep away from drafts, kids, and pets
Do NOT eat
7. Will the decorative “toppings” melt?
Some toppings are designed to melt into the candle as it burns others may soften. It’s perfectly normal and a part of the dessert candles are experience
8. Do you offer gift wrapping or bundles?
Yes! I can put together gift sets, bundles, and seasonal boxes. Great for birthdays, holidays, or just because someone deserves something sweet.
9. What is your processing time?
Most candles ship within 3-5 business days, depending on order volume and whether the candle is made to order. Custom orders processing times vary.
10. What if my candle arrives damaged?
No worries! Send me a photo and I’ll make it right, replacements and refunds are always handled with care. Your happiness matters to me.
11. Do you ship nationwide?
Yes! Orders currently ship anywhere within the United States.
12. Are your candles safe around pets?
All candles should be burned away from curious pets and in a ventilated room. While my ingredients are clean burning, pets should never inhale smoke up close or ingest wax.
Dessert Candle Care
Your dessert candles are crafted to look delicious but they need a little TLC to burn safely and beautifully. Here’s how to keep them looking and smelling amazing.
🔥1. First Burn = Most Important
Let your candle burn until the entire top layer melts to the edges.
This helps prevent tunneling and gives you an even, long lasting burn.
✂️2. Trim Your Wick After Each Use
Before each burn, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch.
This helps prevent wick from mushrooming, high flames, and soot.
Bonus: Your candles will last longer and smell stronger.
🍰3. Burn On A Heat Safe Surface
Dessert candles have decorative “toppings”, so always place them on a sturdy, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, curtains, kids, and pets.
⏳4. Burn In 2-4 Hour Sessions
Don’t burn for more than 4 hours at a time. This protects the wick and keeps your candle from overheating.
🕯️5. Don’t Touch While Hot
Pretty dessert toppings may melt or shift if the candle is too hot. Let it cool completely before moving.
🚫6. Don’t Eat The Candle (I Know It Looks Tempting)
Your dessert candles are handmade to look like real treats but they are strictly for your home, not your stomach.
🎀7. Keep It Clean
If any decorative wax pieces shift, gently reposition them once your candle is cool. Avoid pulling or digging into the wax
♻️8. Reuse Your Jar
Once your candle is finished, clean out the leftover wax with warm water and reuse the jar for: storage, makeup brushes, cotton rounds, small plants etc.
